I think you've done a genuinely good job on this image so far. I look foward to seeing the completed version when it is done. I like the characters expression. You improve with each piece of artwork, particularly in the way you draw faces, eyes especially.
For some reason and I don't know why, the character makes me think of Bubblegum crisis.
